Nancy’s Personal Bio:
I live in Southern California with my husband of 28 years and three of my daughters. As with most families, mine is starting to spread out. My son and grandson live in Southern Arizona, and my oldest daughter and her husband live in Oregon. My youngest daughter graduated high school this year. So, my three youngest daughters will be off to college and gone from home before long.
I began writing seriously when my youngest daughter was about two-years-old. I’d always loved reading and writing, but had never considered publishing what I’d written. God placed this desire on my heart and I followed His calling. I knew that whether I became a published author or not, this was something I had to pursue. God has blessed my obedience in more ways than I can name.
Several years ago, I began to teach the Women’s Bible study at my church, an in-depth study that I write. (The first year we only covered 9 verses, but we had a wonderful time digging into the truth of God’s word.) I enjoy speaking at retreats, libraries, and to church groups. I am also a member of the worship team at my church, where I play the piano.
When I am not writing, I love spending time with my family, reading, doing a variety of needle craft projects, and being with my church family. There aren’t enough hours in a day, or days in a week for me to do all I’d love to. God has given me a rich life, and I thoroughly enjoy walking with Jesus and seeing what He has for me.
