Welcome to my blog, A Note from Nancy. I hope to connect with you as I share news and updates on my books and writing. I also plan to share thoughts on scripture, because Bible study is a passion of mine. Maybe there will even be some recipes from time to time, because who doesn’t like food and new recipes to try.

My writing verse, on the home page of my website, is Habbakuk 2:2, “Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.” (NKJV)
Why this verse? In my writing, I try to write encouragement. To show the mistakes we make and God’s love and forgiveness. It is my hope and prayer that my readers will be lifted up by the stories I share and will embrace what God extends to them.
The word “vision” also means ‘dream.’ I often dream about my stories, or when I am relaxed, and on my way to sleep, I see a part of the story I hadn’t considered before. As you can see, the vision part of imagination works for me as a writer. I see pieces of a new story play out in my head and need to put them down on paper. I love the process.
“…that he may run who reads it.” Don’t we all desire the ability to move with abandon? To run without tiring. To do all we can for those around us and for God? My heart is blessed when I hear from readers telling me how much my story meant to them. That their faith was strengthened and their relationship with God made stronger.
I am here because God called me to be a writer. What has God called you to be? I would love to hear from you.
Have a blessed day and spend some time reading a book.
